Rangoli

Rangoli is an art where you use your imagination and creativity to create beautiful designs using powdered colors, colored sawdust, various dried grains, colored rice, chalk powder, flour, flowers, small rocks.

Dosa Varieties

Dosa is kind of a pancake which can be crispy or soft. It is made on a non stick pan with a round serving spoon.

Oatmeal Dosa

Ingredients:

1 Cup Urad Daal
1 Cup Rice
3 Cups Oatmeal
Salt

Process: Soak Daal and Rice for 2 hours and Just 10 minutes before grinding Soak Oatmeal. Grind Daal and Rice and at the end grind Oatmeal. Mix all together add salt and let it ferment for 2 hours. Dosa's can be made crispy by cooking for little longer time and with more Ghee.


Moon Daal Dosa

Ingredients:

2 Cups Moong Daal (whole)
1/2 Cup Rice
Red dried chillies ( according to taste)
little bit of fresh Cilantro leaves
Salt

Process: Soak Daal and Rice overnight or for minimum 5 hours.Grind Daal , Rice , chillies and cilantro. Mix all together add salt and let it ferment for 30 minutes in a warm place. Dosa's can be made crispy by cooking for little longer time and with more Ghee.


Plain Dosa

2 Cup washed Urad Daal (whole)
5 Cups Rice
1 t sp Methi seeds
Salt

Process: Soak Daal and Rice overnight or for minimum 5 hours.Grind Daal and Rice.Mix all together add salt and let it ferment for 8 hours in a warm place. Dosa's can be made crispy by cooking for little longer time and with more Ghee.
